FAQ's

Q) How quickly can you drive the new road markings?

A) This depends on the material most suitable for the surface. Thermoplastic material dries within a minute where as other materials dying time can take up to 20 minutes.

Q) Does my surface need to be cleaned before the markings are installed?

A) The surface needs to be clear of any obstruction and swept clean of any dust or dirt. Cleaning and sweeping of the surface before installing is part of the Road Marking Groups preparation stage.

Q) Can the markings be installed when its raining?

A) The simple answer to that is NO! When wet, the surface can be dried with a drying machine or a thermo lance then installed on the now warm dry patches, but when raining none of the road marking materials will bond to any surface.  Line removal can take place in any weather conditions.

Q) There are also some alterations to do before the new lines are painted, can you do this too?

A) Yes, line removal is part of our service, we have different methods of removal, click here to see the options. We will advise you onsite the best method to remove the markings from the surface in question.
